Every year, the two publication Goliaths square off in a heated battle of pride and destiny out on Turner Fields. Yes, we’re talking about kickball.

Last year, the scrawnier Gauntlet staff, made up of seven members, played the David to the yearbook’s Goliath.  The Gauntlet won in a nail biter.

This year’s end-of-the-year spectacular was no different.  Up two runs, with two runners on, Jake Ross of The Gauntlet secured a soaring boot from Hayes Chatham deep in center field to secure an 8-7 victory for the journalists over the yearbookers.
