Last week was Homecoming Week and as the dust settles, some might be wondering about the breakdown of the Spirit Points won. Spirit Points are the rewards for doing well in Spirit Events: 1st place gets the most amount of points and 4th place gets the least. There were so many ways to win points and with the coveted Busch Gardens trip on the line for the class with the most Spirit Points, many are wondering how the points broke down. Here is how each grade did:

Sophomores: 10+ 55+ 45+ 95+ 60= 265 points
Juniors: 15+ 50+ 65+ 190+ 120= 440 points
Seniors: 20+ 55+ 60+ 200+ 150= 485 points

This year’s Spirit Events aren’t over yet! Over the course of the school year, the Student Council will plan events where the grades can earn even more points. At this point it seems like a two-way race between the Juniors and the Seniors, but who knows? The Sophomores or Freshmen could still win an upset victory. Congratulations to the Seniors on a well-played Homecoming Week victory.
