Saint Stephen’s Day Chapel (and professional dress day)
This Friday, Jan. 17, there will be a joint US/MS Saint Stephen’s Day Chapel service. It is a professional dress day for all Upper School students.
Tech-free week
This week is a recommended tech-free week. Leave your phones with your advisor and try to remain off of all electronics throughout the school day. Phones can be picked up from your advisor at the end of the day.
Athletics News
All boys interested in playing varsity tennis should plan to attend a meeting with Coach Shields on Wednesday at 3:15pm in the lunch loggia.

Host Families Needed
Please see Mrs. Cotton in room 3162 about an amazing opportunity to be a host family for a Japanese exchange student. The duration of the stay will be five days long, Sat., Feb. 2-Wed., Feb. 5.
Blood Drive Coming Soon
SSES will host a blood drive on Wednesday, January 22nd from 8:30am to 2:00pm in the Upper School parking lot. Sign up for your appointment now with Mr. Holt at the front desk. Donors who are 16 years old must see Mr. Holt for a parental permission form.
College Counseling
Seniors: January 30th during Advisory, we will complete the Bright Futures initial registration. Report to the library for this activity. Bring your laptops or iPads.
Juniors: Please make sure you attend your scheduled individual college counseling appointments this semester.
Freshman & Sophomores: Talk with your study hall teachers to check on the date of your college counseling YouScience workshop. If you have your own laptop, bring it with you. No iPads, please.
