Homecoming Week: Spirit Week bakes off

Tiffany Chinwuba, Contributing writer

Spirit week bakes off with Pixar, showing the creativity and spirit of the students. Students were decked out in costumes, from Sully of Monsters Inc., to the Pixar Lamp, the mascot of Pixar. Another way students showed their creativity was in the annual bake-off contest. The bake-off was quite the competition, with all grades depicting the Pixar movies on their cakes. Cakes were judged on originality, taste, presentation, design, relatability to theme, and photographs taken during the making of the cake.  In the end, there could only be one winner.  Drum roll please…

The winner of the 2014 Saint Stephen’s bake-off is…  the Sophomores!

In second place, the Juniors.

Costumes were a huge part of spirit week, and classes were able to gain points by the amount of students wearing their costumes. The grade with the most people wearing costumes were the Seniors, in second were the Juniors, in third place the Sophomores, and in last place the freshmen.

And the Oscar for best dressed goes to…

Guy: Ben Kalish (Senior)

Girl: Anna Boyd (Senior)
