Wednesday’s Theme: Contemporary Period

It was the day everyone had been waiting for; it was the day of the Dance Off. This exciting event is by far the most anticipated competition during spirit week and idea of each class dancing and lip synching always gets the school revved up. This year’s Dance Off was arguably the most talked about event thus far, due to the bragging rights that were on the line.

The class of 2018 won the event last year as juniors, a feat few classes have been able to accomplish. If the now-seniors were to be beaten this year, it would be monumental.

At the competition’s conclusion, there were the typical mishaps and a few surprises, such as a strong showing by the freshmen. Ultimately, the seniors took the crown again with a well-organized routine.  Check out our video section for the full video.

Some faculty members noted, at the end, that this year was possibly the best Dance Off they had ever seen.

After the third day of Homecoming week, the point totals look like this:

  1. Seniors: 113
  2. Freshman: 76
  3. Juniors: 69
  4. Sophomores: 49
