Sweet cars around campus
Walking through the parking lot at Saint Stephen’s can be a treat. Cars are a passion for young people across the nation. Below, you’ll find a profile of some of the cool rides we have on campus. Know a vehicle that should be on the list? Leave a comment and we’ll add it to the list!

Getting your driver’s license and a car in high school signifies a monumental threshold for teens. Instead of relying on family members or older friends to take you places, having a car allows you to be independent. Being able to make your own schedule and your own plans give students a chance to be responsible.
Saint Stephen’s is known to have an exceptional campus. From the state-of-the-art Marine Science Center looking out on the McLewis Bayou, a brand new athletic complex, a green Middle School building, a beautiful courtyard, and chapel, too. What most people don’t know is that our parking lot is another unique space as well.
Year after year, as students begin to earn their driver’s licenses, new cars pop up on our campus. After walking around the student parking lots, I was able to compile a list of some of the cool rides on campus.
If you know of any other cool cars that ought to be on the list, feel free to comment on the article and we’ll add them to the list!
Cool Cars On CAMPUS
Ford F-250 King Ranch – Dalton Francis
Dalton’s truck is unique. Everyone around Bradenton has probably noticed its colossal presence and noise. Its extreme lift combined with its large tires results in a truck worthy of praise.
Audi S5 – Mark Gharby
The S5 is a blend between a sport and luxury car. Its sleek color paired with a dark black interior merge into a perfect look. The most impressive feature – especially for teens – are the 19 speakers, 16-channel amplifier and 755 watts of power, a perfect system.
Porsche Macan turbo – Mathew Kinkead
It’s known that a Porsche is always going to be nice, no matter which model it is. This Macan turbo is the top of its line. The piercing silver color stands out in the parking lot like no other car.
Mercedes E-class – Tian Huang
Once again, Mercedes doesn’t disappoint its customers. This car is a proper sedan that suits all the needs of any driver while towering over its competition. Its highly advanced technology coupled with a very appealing exterior look allows it to be an ideal vehicle.
Audi Q5 – Noah LaBelle
This Audi is a product of Noah’s style. It’s special because it is completely blacked out. Along with the expressive color, the technology that comes with the Audi is very advanced.
Ford Mustang GT – Cam Vining
Nothing says American muscle like driving a red Mustang. This car, like any other high-end mustang, will never lose its value. The fiery red color looms in the parking lot and instantly catches your eye.
Ford F-150 – Bolly Turner
This truck has a 7.5-inch lift and 37-inch tires. It sports a complete black look including tinted windows and black rims.
Subaru WRX – Jacob Whorf
This car is known for its high-performance ability. Its handling and driving style along with its aggressive look is a match made in heaven for a strong reliable car.
Mercedes GLA – Jordan Stacy
I have loved the GLA ever since Mercedes released the car with the new facelift in 2017. This car has the perfect combination of black and white with a white paint, and black rims and interior.
BMW 430i – Maria Herrig
This BMW has a chic midnight blue color. It’s a two-door hardtop convertible and includes an advanced technology pack.
Jeep Wrangler – Fisher Lindsey
This Jeep is exceptional because it’s equipped with special rims, which complete the black and white look of the vehicle. The black tint on the windows, along with the black rails around the car, allow the white paint to pop out and make the car look brand new.

My first car was a used, 1984 powder blue Suzuki Samuria SJ410. This 4-cylinder stick shift had a white convertible top and 4-wheel drive. The wheel base was narrower than the car was tall, so it made going around curves on the interstate truly memorable! I think it had a radio, but you definitely couldn’t hear it over the wind noise! Now that was a sweet ride!

Wow! My first car was a used Dodge Arrow with no air conditioning, no power steering, no power windows, and an AM radio.

There are other vehicle besides trucks and luxury cars.
