Tonight at 7pm at ODA, the varsity football team will face off against perennial school rival ODA in the “Headmaster’s Cup,” a long-standing tradition between the two similar schools.

The Saint Stephen’s players and the Spirit Club (a loyal group of ardent fans) are looking forward to the big game, but they aren’t the only ones.

The Sarasota Herald Tribune is covering the game and wrote an article about the big match up.  http://www.heraldtribune.com/sports/20180926/prep-football-saint-stephens-is-uncovering-its-identity.

Last year was the last time the two rivals went head-to-head and the Falcons beat the thunder in a 61-7 route. ODA, who is 4-0 this year, will look to stay unbeaten as Saint Stephen’s visits their home turf.

According to Falcon head coach Todd Creneti, the Thunder are hungry this year and have done nothing but improve, but the Falcons are determined to leave with a win.

The Tribune’s article highlights a couple of our players, including senior Truman Carlsen, who leads the Falcons in tackles this year, and sophomore D.J. Clark, who has rushed for six touchdowns.

Tonight is guaranteed to be an entertaining game as the Falcons look to leave with a divisional victory.
