After last week’s win over rivals Out-Of-Door Academy, the Falcons look to continue their winning streak against Aubrey Rogers High School tonight at the MAC at 7pm.
According to senior cheerleading captain, Caylin Kitchner, there is a lot of hype about this first home game.
”The cheerleaders are super excited for our first home game. We have lots of fun things planned to engage with the fans and support the boys.”
Tonight, the spirit club is hosting a “white out” theme for tonight’s match. The football team will be sporting their brand new white jerseys, and fans will be decked out in all white. That’s not the only thing to celebrate, though.
Tonight is senior night for the football team, cheerleaders, and band. Fans will be honoring our ten seniors on all three teams at halftime.
According to senior captain and quarterback Evan Brown, the squad is feeling optimistic about tonight’s chances.
“We are feeling pretty good,” Brown said. “We’ve had a really good week of practice and tried to focus a lot on details. I really think we’ll be able to score a ton of points tomorrow.”
The Saint Stephen’s Falcons football team are off to a great start for the 2023 season, with a 2-1 record. As the Falcons soar into another week of Friday Night Lights, the squad they hopes to bring home another back-to-back state championship to the nest.
