Student Council hosts holiday spirit event

On Wednesday December 7, the Saint Stephen’s student council hosted a spirit event to celebrate the spirit of the upcoming holidays. Six students from each of the upper school grades were chosen by their class representatives to compete in various challenges such as constructing a gingerbread house in under ten minutes and a candy cane hook challenge. The gingerbread house challenge was judged by Mr. Holt and Mr. Jensen. Their final verdict was that the junior class had the best built house. Overall the event was a huge success as the entire school circled and cheered for their classmates.

According to a group of students, “We had a great time watching this event and it definitely made me feel like Christmas was coming. Thank you student council for the wonderful job!” Although it might seem minor, the event brought the whole school together before final exams and the winter break.
