The upper and middle schools gathered in the Christ Church today in celebration of Saint Stephen’s Day. Students were fortunate to be joined by The Right Reverend Dabney Smith, 5th Bishop of the Diocese of Southwest Florida. Reverend Smith gave a wonderful speech about empathy that featured an anecdote from when he was in eighth grade.

The upper school band performed Fantasia and Fugue, a piece by Johann Sebastian Bach.  The band is playing extremely well right now, and their performances should be sought out in the coming months.
