Today STUCO announced the details of this year’s Winter Informal dance, but many questions remained unanswered. Here’s what The Gauntlet knows:

Student Council is taking a new spin on SSES’s traditional Winter Formal dance. Tickets will be sold at randomized prices, where students will roll a pair of die to determine the cost of their own ticket. The dance is designed to be less formal and not dance-focused. While there will still be a dance floor with music, the STUCO team has hand-crafted their own playlist for the benefit of the students. Other activities, including carnival games, corn hole, and a designated rest area will also be available so that attendees will not feel obligated to dance. The dress code is appropriate attire for a birthday dinner at a restaurant. Winter Informal will take place January 27.
