Every year, the Upper School gathers, along with family members, in the chapel for the Departmental Awards Ceremony.

Departmental awards are given to students who have excelled in specific departments.  The awards go to Falcons who have succeeded or gone above and beyond in the different departments.

During the ceremony, department chairs come to the podium and announce the winners of the “Effort and Improvement” and “Excellence” awards for departments.

For younger students, the ceremony is an opportunity to take the initiative in coming years to reach for the top in departments they care about.
